My Journey to
Professional Coach

After graduating with a Bachelor degree from George Washington U, I started a career in small business banking. I earned a Masters in Business Administration from Loyola University and moved onto professional retirement planning. Although very rewarding, I wanted to help and work more directly with clients. So, I went back to school and started a career in real estate. I was closer to what made me happy, but there was a missing piece that I could not identify.

My next step was the most rewarding and life changing…

I hired a Life Coach!

I learned so much about myself. In addition to wanting to help people I learned I was a natural listener and interpreter of group dynamics.

One of my strong qualities is ability to listen to people, both literally and intuitively, and to understand what they mean, sometimes even before they do.

I totally identified with the coaching model and its mission. So, I learned about becoming a coach.

My Coach Training

I trained at the Coaches Training Institute, the industry leader in coaching excellence and leadership development. After training with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), I went onto certification training, and received my certification from the International Coaches Federation.

My current ongoing study is in the new neuroscience research that backs up the benefits of coaching. It is fascinating how stories we tell ourselves are processed in the brain and physically affect how we interpret the world. For one, just having a coaching relationship starts the positive change that clients are looking to achieve.
